Unabomber Theodore Kaczynski wrote a letter to a federal appeals court complaining about a museum exhibit of the tiny cabin where he plotted an 18-year bombing spree. Kaczynski, who is serving a life sentence with no possibility of parole, says the display at the Newseum in Washington runs counter to his victims' wish to limit further publicity about the case.
What the hell is a unabomber, what lanquage uses the prefix una, espaniole...
In English it is UNI bomber.
They will let anyone write anything now a days!

It's unabomber as the early targets were at UNiversities and Airports. The FBI put them together and came up with UNAbomber.

I would think his notes and his manifesto would be more interesting than his cabin. Who cares about a building - he could have done the planning anywhere, that's not the important part of the case.
The manifesto, or the ramblings of this nut are available on Google and are a crashing bore. They make very little sense and are not very well written. His notes and drawings give little insight to the workings of an obviously defective mind. He is where he belongs and no one really cares about his cabin or his wishes. His own brother turned him in when he recognized the crazed style of the writing. Save yourself the time, there are really a lot better things to read that actually make sense.
the cabin will draw in the marks,it is easier to look at a shack than to read documents
They should give the building to the lady Kaczynski gave it to. Then she could do whatever she wants to with it. Once they took all the evidence from the cabin, why didn't they honor giving it back to the rightful owner. Seizing private property and then putting it on display in some so-called history display, makes the government look like hypocrites.
If you had read the case you would know it was not his to give to anyone. The owner released it to the government and did not want it back. Why do you care what a murdering coward wants done with anything, or is it a liberal thing?
Yes i read the case. He built the cabin on property he owned in Montana, so i would say its his. The government moved it from Montana to California for evidence.
The question is what happens to it after its no longer needed for evidence?
He gave it to Scharlette Holdman and it should have been returned to her. If they did and she turned it over to the government, fine. But from what i remember she was going to have it destroyed. Now the question is, how did it get on display?
Its not a conservative or liberal thing!! Its a question of government seizing private property and what happens when they're finished with it.
We need more people that are willing to stand up to large corporations and governments whose objectives are to enslave people into every widening technologies. What we must do to maintain a level of sanity is to simplify our lives, not complicate our lives with cell phones, credit cards, debit cards, cable TV, the Space Shuttle and other expensive government toys. In some respects, Ted was my hero. He had the techno-crats running scared. Sure he killed 3 people and injured 23, but look what Lyndon Johnson did. President Johnson was responsible for the deaths of probably 2 million people. Which one of these two individuals would you consider worthy of respect? Hint: The FBI even said they had to admire Ted's ability to last so long in that little cabin.
Anyone that has a murder and coward for a hero needs serious help. Please check yourself into a facility as soon as possible, just repeat this insanity and they will take care of you.
Seizing private property in the name of profit seems to be the way of the conservatives who esteem personal greed above all else. That is your Republican governement for you.
This is such an idiotic statement that it is hardly worth the time, but there are as many if not more rich greedy liberal pinheads as there are republicans, but since liberalism is a mental disorder it is all you see, and have for that matter, pity.
I would do what this guy asks, if I were the judge...and had a family. He's very crafty and probably has equally as crafty friends out there.
wildbill-69 "makes the government look like hypocrits" i think they are and don't give a hoot
26 intentional victims and Ted is worried about the victims? This nut boy is still as crazy as the day the FBI dug him out of this fine piece of American architecture. His ego is offended as he would rather be remembered for his ranting in his "manifesto", it was truly the raving of a mad man. This hovel he lived in and built is the real Ted, a loser and coward. It is better for all of society to not forget that these insane fanatics walk among us and that if we pander to their wants or desires it only serves to feed their insanity. Sorry Ted, no one cares what you think about anything. No one needs to fear this lunatic now that he is in the most secure prison in the country, not the judge or anyone else. He can threaten and spew hate all he wants but no one is listening. It has a certain freak show value and we all love a freak show. Anyone that would deliberately murder and mame that many people certainly qualifies for the title.
Why should anyone give a d--m what his wishes are?
I don't care what they do with it. It is not an xhibit I would care to see. The guy was nuts and an inflicter of pain.
Being from MT I think they should have executed this guy and called it good. The publicity around these kind of murderers is what keeps them going. I think its kind of odd this guy is worried about the victims NOW, its a little late but then again he's probably trying to show he's "reformed" or has some angle. He should be taken out to the desert and blown up in his little shack that would end all the controversy now wouldn't it??? No Ted and no display and no ones feelings would be hurt and no one would be offended by the publicity, there's my solution.
After what he did, why should he have any rights to demand anything from the government. I am 71 years old and I remember when convicts had no rights. Now they get TV,s Radio,s and all types of perks... Hey... If you can't do the time don't do the crime...
Who cares what this guy thinks. More importantly, why are taxpayers money still being used to keep this guy alive? Lets execute him and save some money.
I don't think this guy has a right to say boo let alone object to anything.
